I.M. Texas, the premier instructional materials event in Texas, is the annual conference of the Instructional Materials Coordinators’ Association of Texas and includes essential information for instructional materials coordinators, curriculum staff, technology specialists, business office personnel, and warehouse managers.
This course will navigate members through best practices of forming teacher committees to review Instructional Materials Review Approval (IMRA) process. Although there is no longer a Proclamation Cycle, districts are still responsible for selecting materials for local use. We will discuss and evaluate different options districts can utilize to be in compliance.
